Roleplays

Post by Dark Shocktail »

I've noticed that it's easy to be left behind in a roleplay if you can't get on or if a few other members go ahead and post, hence leaving you a few pages to read.

Prehaps there's a system that can stop this from happening?

I don't think so. That's really why I don't roleplay on this forum anymore. If they don't give you a chance to keep up, just let the other posters know that they're going to fast.

I just remembered another board I go on, they take turns to post. So they have an order: e.g. Poster 1, Poster 2, Poster 3.

Then if someone can't come on or if they're inactive for so long, the roleplay moves on and they get a PM. The problem is that it requires active members, not the offhand, post-once-a-week roleplayers.

Still, I was just wondering. It's not a suggestion, since I tried it on my own board and no-one liked it.
