I was thinking that we should have a board or sub-board for 'Clubs', since it seems like alot of people are making clubs. There could be an application form for each club, requirements, benefits, etc.

Rate out of 10.

I suggested a clubs thing, and Pikachu2838 put up a whole coded 'testing' system and it didn't go as hot. We figured a few weeks [or months whatever] and then soon everyone would lose interest in it.

But still, as usual, I stand neutral. -gently removes cat out of my corner and hogs it back-

if we were to have a forum for clubs, i think it would be best off as a sub-board, just as miradapurple has previously suggested.

Seriously though, that would just fail, people would lose interest as most people would just start their own and the only clubs that would be active are the ones that have active members. It's not great but I'd give it a 40% of working. 5/10

I reckon it should be used for the clubs that people are members of here on the boards, like the Umbreon club. To add spice to it, we could have competitions that pit the clubs against each other, e.g. art contests, roleplaying battles etc.

That way it'd be more interesting.

Interesting idea...and I particularly like Dark Shocktail's club competitions suggestion. The admins are certainly contemplating this idea.

If I remember rightly, before the downtime we were discussing having a few select, staff run clubs with those kind of exclusive comps, badges and stuff.

The Reason behind it being staff run was so that we didnt have a million different club boards with about 2 memberes each, and we could easilly hand out PP and Medals.

Would that work? Would you join a club run by a staff member, or maybe a carefully selected individual? Just a thought
