The badges

Well as we all know that the new 10th season of pokemon is coming out soon and diamond and pearl is already out. But the badge idea is only on the first season. I was just wondering to make it more interesting. You can fool around with the number of posts to get the badges. and add the 2nd season of badges to the list. It'll be something for people to work up to.

I'm sure we've had something similar to this suggested, and it was not picked up because the amount of posts you need to get these 8 bages are so high that there's no point adding more...

having said that, the last badge idea that was suggested to display them all in the profile at the side I said wasnt a good idea, and it still happened, so my opinion doesnt matter much.

Well this was what I was think though, Every 1,000 posts you move on to another set of badges and probably a medal in you profile that says past the 1st region or so.

If you did it every 1,000 posts, you wouldnt have much time to see perticular ranks that your at.

It's currently set at a fairly fair level for how many posts you make per rank, or so I've been informed.

Ultimatly it's not up to me, but the only way i see it happening is if we completly scrap the system we have (with the journy around Kanto, getting the 8 badges) in order to make a new system. I dont see it happening myself.

Maybe there should be a few more badges, cause I have about 11500 posts and it seem kind of weird of not having anything new.

Yeah, but your a spammer...

you do realise that while you have the most posts on the forum, the 2nd person on the 'most posts' list has about half of your amount... so the likelyhood of anybody getting the rank of pokemon master is about 1 in... however many members we have registered on the boards.
