Sage's Art
I have a deviant art account and a theOtaku account. Pretty much if you see a user by the name SageOfMagic or SageAsuka it is me.
That being said, I draw a ton of kemonomimi, comics and the like. Here's some pokemon gijinkas (humanoid pokemon) to start things off.
only makes sense if you're acquainted with this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CugguiCV ... takOqCbtTY

I can see you're quite skilled and that your level of skill is getting better at quite a phenomenal rate. Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci will be green with envy at your skills in no time I'm sure. You should show us more of your art in a year so that we can see how you've improved. It also becomes something to look forward to.

Oh wow did you model that N64 controller from scratch? I've only ever dabbled in 3D modelling but I've done enough to know how much work it can take That looks really good

Re: Sage's Art
Yup. And thank you! I'm actually rather relieved to here that it looks okayish. I have to complete this for school and I'm currently hitting a bit of a time crunch.
I've added a few more objects since last time and altered the lighting.

I couldn't resist that little nod to old school gaming.
Here's the final renders. I wasn't sure if the condensation was 'realistic' enough so I ran a version without as well

Niiiiiice
Also I return this time not with 3d scenes but traditional animations

nothing too impressive yet. Just ball bounces and eggs launching for 4-6 seconds.

Haha I really like those. Do you want to become an animator or a 3D modeler or is this all like a hobby?

I'd like to be a 3D modeler for videogames : > I'm currently majoring in character animation, but once I graduate I'm hoping to swing into a grad program centered around game design.

Re: Sage's Art
That's really cool. I tried my hand very briefly at 3D modelling once in Blender but I just downloaded the program with no idea of what I was doing and it was so overwhelming I could barely figure out how to do anything hahaSageOfMagic wrote:I'd like to be a 3D modeler for videogames : > I'm currently majoring in character animation, but once I graduate I'm hoping to swing into a grad program centered around game design.

Re: Sage's Art
I've never actually touched Blender. All my stuff has been done with Maya because my school provided it. But yeah, there's a bit of a learning curve with the tools. Once you learn basics though, it's easy to figure out.
I haven't had any new 3d models to show lately because all my effort is going into working towards a 5 minute animated film with my classmates. We should have it wrapped up by Spring 2015.
