Curse of the Night

This is a Roleplay on another forum I go to, from a very long time ago. I just copied it and edited it a little. ^^;

8 Dark Pokémon, controlled by an invisible force, crept up on Siula island, their eyes glowing red in the night. They floated across the night like ghosts, splitting off into the neighbourhood and floating through the walls of houses, searching for the victims of the curse.
A red light filled the sky as the shadows glowed, releasing their energy into each victim one by one, each on seemed to grow darker every second, cursing them with all their power. The red light began to fade as the sun rose on the horizon.
The 8 dark Pokémon faded with it, each disappearing into the night, never to be seen again as the morning-bell rang.
The 8 children awoke later, all unaware of the last night’s events. Each one cursed by one of the Dark ghosts; Umbreon, Sneasel, Murkrow, Mightyena, Sableye, Absol, Houndoom, and Crawdaunt.

Siula Island is a place where Dark-type Pokémon are feared greatly. There's even a rule that no one must go out after dark out of fear of these. Several bounty hunters live on the island and are highly paid for any Dark-type Pokémon they get rid of. The island is about three hours ride west of Hoenn on a ferry, leaving from Evergrande across the sea. Siula gladly welcomes any trainers who come to catch dark-type Pokémon and take them away, even though they are quite rare on the island due to hunting rewards.

Everyone in this thread will be playing one of the victims-- That is, one of the people above who were seeked out by the Dark Pokémon ghosts. If you didn't read the story, they have laid curses on these people. This will make them transform into one of those Pokémon at night (whichever one found them) right from when sunset.
Coincidentally, they know each other well, and go to the same school(It’s not that unlikely since it's not such a big island).
Although they are unaware of it currently, if they are caught after sunset in these Pokémon forms they will be killed. You must escape the island any way you can or face death. But first you must find out how. And why...

Appearance: Only human appearance; you would look like any regular Pokémon you were cursed by at night.
History: Basically what relation you and your family have in this whole Dark-type-Pokémon-fearing business. Remember to include what your character thinks of dark-types.

Last and probably the exact opposite of least, the rules.
1. No godmodding, character control, or sudden unrealistic and drastic changes to the story.
2. All sign-up forms must be approved by me, so don't start the RP if your form hasn't been approved.
3. I would prefer experienced RolePlayers. There's nothing I hate more than newbs coming and ruining your thread by not complying with rule number 1.
4. One character, just to be fair, since this has limited spaces. I will only allow it if no-one else is coming, and we need to start the RP.
5. Keep the thread at a steady pace and don't rush on 2 pages ahead of everyone else.
6. Don't skip important details. Please.
7. Remember: Only one spot for each Pokémon.

Personality: Arcana usually has sympathy for the Dark-types because it is certainly unfair to just be killed on sight. She likes watching the sea, and she lives near the beach also. She trusts her friends very much, and ignores her parents most of the time, but she still cares about everyone she knows well.
Appearance: Her hair is short, light brown, and positioned to the sides on her head. She wears a long-sleeved blue shirt with black stripes and 3-quarter black pants. She also likes wearing yellow sandals.
History: Her parents don't really mind Dark Pokémon but they sometimes freak if they see one. They aren't particularly biased towards them and don't tend to hunt them down like other families on the island.

Personality: She is fairly calm and spontaneous, and has actually liked Dark type Pokemon, a pity on Siula Island. Sarah has acrophobia and claustrophobia...
Appearance: Sarah is about 5'8'' with dark blonde hair. She wears a black leather jacket, brown leather gloves, black velvet-ish pants, and a black T-shirt saying, "I listen to the screams of the people in the basement at night."
Past: She moved to Siula Island at around age five, and still has a pet Eevee and a pet Houndour from her early childhood in Johto. Needless to say, she avoids letting people know of her Houndour's existance, and wishes she wasn't on that particular island anyway.

Personality: Very quiet and chilled, she doesn't talk much and spends more of her time with pokemon than people, this has gotten her a bad reputation among other kids.
Appearance: Pale skin, white hair and very tall for her age. She wears a long trench coat and baggy jeans.
History: Her mother was a victim of a sneasel attack and is lying in bed severely wounded, she has been living with only her mother for all of her life and swears she will get revenge. She thinks of dark Pokemon as evil but still has a great love for other types.
