As you all probably know, he's much more difficult to find in AC:WW than in AC, seeing as you have to shoot him out of the sky with your slingshot. Anyway, I wanted to make a thread about him because today was my first time ever meeting him in AC:WW! I've seen the spaceship before, though, it was very fast! If I didn't have the golden slingshot I would've missed him! After finding the 4 ship pieces, he gave me an Arc de Triomphe . I not really all that special itself, but just getting a Gulliver item is cool!

I got the Arc de Triomphe in AC and my brother made me put it in my town model

I've seen him twice now, and all he gave me was a Metroid and a Maoi Head (Easter Island head), but they are pretty good, the Metroid anyway.

The Gulliver in my game must be glitched.
I've shout him down 5 times,
yet whenever I do,
the game freezes and I get Resetti.
I wish Resetti could tell
whether or not you had a choice in shutting it down!

I've seen Gulliver numerous times but even with the golden slingshot I have not once managed to shoot him down; I am usually too slow in getting out the golden slingshot, I spot him too late or I am at the bottom of the map when I see him.

The trick is that he will only show up at the start of the game - The first time ending in xx:x2 or xx:x7 your game comes across.

I know and I've used that knowledge to my advantage but I still miss him. Sometimes I start my game near xx:x2 or xx:x7 and I go to check my mail as he flies by, or I'm sorting out some of my tools, or something else ridiculous.

...And sometimes he comes at the second opportunity, while you aren't expecting it :-x

How frequently does he appear? Once every hour, once every power on or once every day? Or is it twice?

It's random what day he appears, you'll just have to be aware for the first or second xx:x2 or xx:x7 in the week (Weekends have pre-determined characters)
