Something like that happened to my DS Lite. Everytime I'd turn it on, everything on the top screen would look reddish.

Anyways, I'm saving up money so I can get a DSi on Christmas, as I want to play SoulSilver without the weird shade of red.

I don't want a DSi, mainly for the lack of GBA slot. I mean, there isn't a huge selection of games on the DS that need it, but it's still nice to have it. Plus it doubles as a GBA if ever anything were to happen to mine.

And anyway, I don't particularly like the features the DSi has anyway. The camera I can see possibly a few games (as far as I'm aware there's only a couple as it is) and maybe a little mess around with, the sound recorder is again another mess around, and I suppose the shop is alright - if the points were a bit cheaper to buy for it.

All in all the DS Lite is cheaper and has more liked features, in my opinion, so I'm staying with that.
