Re: My Sketches
The "Best Pikachu" one is okay. The Pokemon and Pikachu sketch makes it look like it has walnuts stored in it's cheeks, sort of like John McCain. The "Pikachu" one looks like it's on some kind retina enlarging 'shroom. Overall it's passable.

Don't worry, even the best artist were mediocre when they first started. I'm sure with practise you'll get better.pikalover1234 wrote: I Know.....

Take these words of wisdom, and don't give up. You'd be surprised how easily you could improve in such a short amount of time, like a year.
I've seen it in some friends, online on another site, and offline. ;D
The "Best Pikachu" is kinda cute =D

It's true, just practice, practice, practice, and before you know it you'll get used to it and be able to draw amazinglypikapower06 wrote:Pikachu90000 wrote:Don't worry, even the best artist were mediocre when they first started. Re: My Sketches
Oh, and I'd suggest posting at least one picture up, usually your "best" in your opinion, before asking people to "go to another site." You are thereby stating that they should take enough interest to go check out your work elsewhere, when many probably don't know your style. Or if they do, you're still saying, in gist, "I'm not posting it up. You know the drill. I know you want to." By making this topic but not showing us an example.
The problem with that theory? They don't know what to expect when they go to the other link. Sure, you can tell them what it's based on, but they won't know looks wise. It's like introducing a character in a book or play, building nothing up on the character, but expecting everyone to fall in love with it immediately and feel sorry for every little bad thing that happens to it.
;D Another nice tip.
Link a picture, then tell them the rest is so-and-so. At least one picture, though, if not the lot you wish them to review/critique/see the most.
