Long Lost, Brainwashed, Time-trapped and Unknown

Post by FireBall Latios »

A journey of a 12-year-old boy in a superstitious region. The boy has no Pokémon of his own, and relies very heavily on his strength, speed, mind and everything else in his power to help him go through difficulties.

Prologue/Chapter 0.5 (½):

In Lonyae, a renowned Pokémon soared the skies of the region not too long ago. It has an aerodynamic structure, a long neck and ears, a pointed head and does not have any hind legs. Legend claimed it can choose to bring good luck to anyone, as long as he had seen it in its natural habitat unhurt.

A war started one day. Another region's ruler wanted to conquer Lonyae for its rich land, but the Lonyans refused to give up their homeland, and swore to protect it to their last breaths. Not only war-trained Pokémon took part in the fight, but human warriors too. Both parties fought endlessly and mercilessly. Sadly, the Lonyan troops were not not as well-trained or strong as their foes, who also had more experience in wars. Weeks flew, and the locals are losing steadily. It seemed hopeless for the Lonyans.

All of sudden, three celestial Pokémon appeared from the sky; one green, one blue and one red. The dragons cannot flap their wings at all, have forelegs with claws and markings that glow. Two of the beasts were never seen before in Lonyae, but the foreigners knew and considered the green Pokémon sacred, which was nearly four times bigger than the blue one. No one knew where the crimson dragon came from, and was rumoured to fly around the globe.

The three Dragon-typed Pokémon believed that all living things are not meant to fight in wars, so they strived to end the battle. The green serpentlike monster gave an ear-splitting roar louder than twenty Mightyenas howling, calling its worshippers to stop fighting. A protective barrier that shielded the Lonyan troops from damage was formed when the cobalt dragon shone green. The red one tried to generate the peaceful feeling within all to put a halt in wars by healing some of the battlers. Nevertheless, their attempts to end the battle failed.

Soon, the green serpent attacked the foreigners. Its arms blinked in blue-purple light and the monster swiped its claws at the foreigners . The blue dragon had been so busy shielding the locals, it had quite forgotten to save itself from attacks. It was badly hurt, but wouldn't give up. The healing powers of the red dragon only strengthened fighting spirits. The war hopelessly went on.

But nothing lasts forever, so the war stopped after a long, long time. Everyone returned home. The once green battlefield was bare. Not a single tree, not a shrub, not a blade of grass survived the war. Just plain earth and a few rocks. The sky rained. The celestial dragons had left the battlefield, except the blue one. It had the worst luck compared to the other two, because it suffered the most damage. It released a great amount of light, so bright that no one can possibly look at it directly without being blinded. Grass and shrubs sprouted. In the process, the ill-fated dragon got struck by lightning. Not once, not twice, but thrice. The dragon became smaller and smaller. Then, it disappeared together with its strong glow without a trace.

It all happened about 1200 years ago.
