A dark vail covers the Earth.
The world goes to sleep.
Children grow,
Adults age,
Plants prosper,
Cells form.
It is a time for renewal;
For the whole world is at rest.
And while things are being undisturbed,
Life takes its toll.
Time is never wasted,
And when the vail is lifted,
Another chance will come.
