[Goggy]

Beep! Beep!
Groaning, I turn to my clock. I make out the number 13. I blink. It's 10:13.
Oh no! And I was meant to get my pokemon today! I put a cloak over my pjs, and rush out. Soon I arrive, and I fall into the lab. Insert loud laughs.
"Goggy, you're late!" Prof tells me. "How can I trust you to become a breeder if you're late?"
I don't answer. I glance around, looking for a pokemon.
Prof reads my mind, "You want a pokemon?" he laughs. "Then you must earn it."
I don't have the time, so I edge to a table of poke balls. Prof is too busy laughing to see. My hand snatches a ball. I smile, "Oh prof. Shall I come later?"
He nods, still guffawing. I slowly walk out. I got away with it! I only move two paces forwards when he yelps, "My squirtle? Where is it?"
I run. I see people stare at me but who cares? I'm a thief.

[Goggy]

Panting, I arrive in a dark forest. I look around. A low voice booms, "I saw what you did."
I jump, a creature floats down to me. "You are Goggy, no?"
"Y-Yes," I stutter.
The thing laughs, "I am a pokemon. I am what they call Mewtwo."
I suddenly remember, "You were in that pokemon movie! The one where you created all those evil clones."
Mewtwo nods, "Yes. I wish to rule the world again. But to do that, I need a trainer who will aid me."
"I will!" I exclaim. "Oh Mewtwo! What shall I do first?"
"Catch me." it says. "You must pass the test."
Um, I have a level 5 Squirtle. Mewtwo is level 70. It isn't fair.
"I will take your pokemon unless you catch me." it sneers.
So I have no choice.
I must catch Mewtwo.
Wish me luck.

[Goggy]

"Squirtle!" I say, "Go!"
Squirtle leaps out, nervously eying Mewtwo up and down.
"Tackle!" I command. Squirtle grabs my poke ball, and goes back in. Mewtwo approaches.
"Stupid squirtle!" I spit.
Mewtwo stops, "Such hatred. I am yours." It goes into a poke ball. 1 shake. 2. 3. Ping! But it comes out. It explains it hates the ball.
"Where do we go, master?" I ask.
Mewtwo smiles at me, "I seek a trainer called Ash. He foiled my plans."
I am confused. Didn't Mewtwo become good at the end.
Mewtwo reads my mind again. "I was never good. I just said it to get them off my case."
After an awkward silence, we make our way through the forest...

Soon we arrive in Viridian City. "I wish to see Giovanni," Mewtwo tells me.
I understand him completely. If I was used like that, I would want revenge.
We march in. I stare at all the moving mats. Mewtwo just blasts them. Trainers run out screaming, and Giovanni stares at me and Mewtwo.
Mewtwo laughs, "Didn't see me coming, did you?"
Giovanni points out, "I saw you out of the window."
Mewtwo isn't the one known for appreciating jokes.
"You held me captive." he says. "I will keep you captive."
Alright. He lost me.
Mewtwo throws this kind of black and green ball at Giovanni. I watch as it sucks him in. I blink, "What the heck did you do, Mewtwo?"
Mewtwo tells me he created a human ball. It will keep the humans captive until he takes them home, and turns them into pokemon.
"You won't do that to me, will you Mewtwo?" I panic.
He looks at me fondly, "You are already mine. And I am yours, partner."
I nod, confused. Then he leads me outside, and the next journey begins.

[Goggy]

"Mewtwo," I say, watching him blast Mt Moon into tiny particles.
"Yes?" Mewtwo doesn't look at me.
"Why are you so... hateful?" I ask.
Mewtwo frowns, "After I was kicked off the show, I met a boy. He taught me to love again. But, he soon grew tired. He left me for Darkrai."
"Did he catch Darkrai?" I ask.
"No." Mewtwo laughs. "Darkrai didn't get caught. People make it impossible to catch these type of pokemon."
I agree. "So, we're going to get Misty?"
"Nah," Mewtwo says. "I need to find the boy Ash."
"Check the Sinnoh region." I say. "But be quick. Nintendo might make a new game soon."
He agrees. So we take the SS Anne and arrive.
"We might as well get his friend, too." Mewtwo gives me 5 human balls. "Use them wisely. Squirtle may help knock them out."
"The humans?" I say, puzzled. Mewtwo nodds. "Be here in a hour," I say.

[Goggy]

Running off, I go to the shop. I wonder what Mewtwo will make Ash into. A pikachu? I hope a feebas. Feebas are hard to get. Breathing in, I root through my purse for some money. A shadow falls upon me.
"Gimme ya money," a gruff man mumbles.
I back away. "Leave me!"
The man, who is from team magma, grabs me. I scream.

[Goggy]

I struggle, and my poke ball falls out of my pocket. Squirtle comes out, blinking at the light.
"Squirtle," I say, "If you want me to forgive you for the cowardice against Mewtwo, you will battle now!"
Squirtle nods. Then he faces the villain. "Tackle!" I command, and I watch Squirtle head butt the man. He yells, "Go, numel!"
I growl. "Squirtle, jump and smash 'im!"
Squirtle bashes into numel, and lands perfectly. This squirtle is so cool!
The man sees he is no match for my pokemon. He turns red and staggers away.
"No crime goes unpunished," I say, while pointing at him. "Squirtle! Tackle!"
He crashes into him, and the man look at me in shock.
"Human ball!" I yell, "GO!"
I watch it suck him in. Wiggles once. Twice. Three times. Click.
You know, I think Mewtwo would be proud of me.
Not that I know. I'm only human.

You may think if me as some twisted crazy guy. Then you're wrong.
I am a 14 year old girl, a fan of pokemon. If you don't believe me, tough.
I could be anyone. Your mum. Your teacher. The old man who lives down the road. But I know who I am.
Picking up the ball, I realize I had a long ago feeling reappear. Happiness.
When Mewtwo comes, unsuccessful, I tell him. "I can help find Ash."
He stares at me, "You?"
"But first we must go to Kanto. Prof Oak. I have a score to settle..."
Mewtwo listens to my plan. He smiles, "You aren't as stupid as you look."
He holds my hand, and we lift off the ground. I gasp, clinging to Mewtwo harder.
I love the view, and know that mum wouldn't approve. I fall asleep, but Mewtwo doesn't mind.
I hope we have a future together...

I'm floating about, clouds lapping at my feet. I look about, but no other life form is visible. But a voice echoes, "Goggy..."
I turn, and stare into the eyes of Gardivoir. I am amazed, and feel my legs lose its feeling.
"Goggy," Gardivoir wails, "You don't want to do this."
"But Mewtwo says so," I say, "And I can't give in or he'll tell Oak I stole Squirtle and turn me into a pokemon."
Gardivoir sighs, looking deep into my eyes, "You're better than Mewtwo. He cannot defeat you if you are stronger heart wise."
I snort, "How are my organs meant to help?"
Gardivoir just repeats, "He cannot defeat you if you are stronger heart wise... heart wise... heart wise..."
I wake up, and feel the cold ground. Mewtwo is gone, and only Squirtle is my comfort. "Oh squirtle," I sob. "I've done bad!"

I feel the cold bite my skin. I stare at nothingness, barely feeling Squirtle's rough tongue lap at my cheek. I shiver, but manage to sit up. I can destroy Mewtwo. I am better than him. I stand up, a fire lit in my heart. I stride along, Sqirtle close behind. I see Oak cowering against a wall, Mewtwo turns to me. "Ah, Goggy. You're up."
"Mewtwo," I say, I have to do this. I hold up my poke ball, which I realise is a master ball. I frown, it wasn't there before. I shake my head slightly, "Mewtwo! Return!"
He screeches as it sucks him in. He scratches my cheek, and I feel blood trickle down my neck.
Oak gets up, "Goggy, you saved me!"
I can't smile, I just nod.
Oak looks at the master ball greedily, "What will you do?"
Yes.
Now what?

[Goggy]

I turn away, "Oak. I need to be alone."
Outside, I let Mewtwo out. He widens his eyes, "You set me free?"
"Mewtwo, capturing creatures who are captured for all their life is cruel. Be free."
Mewtwo holds my hands, "You do know I'm legendary? Only a stupid human would let me free."
I smile tearfully, "I'm a stupid human, then."
He hugs me tight, "You are the most kind human ever. I will miss you."
"I'll miss me too. But you more," I cry.
Mewtwo waves at me, "I will see you some day." And I watch him disappear.
You know, I hope so to.
