[Starting it after just waking up so it might sound really crappy. :/]
Soft pads caressed the ground they walked upon, crossing over the earthen dirt as she made her way towards the creek. She had heard many mysterious things about this creek, often ending with the death of one that went adventuring too closely towards the creek itself. No, no, she was here to prove them wrong. She slowed a bit, herself slightly trembling. She could just make out the outline of it's shoreline nearest her, the fog hanging thick in the air. A deep howl was made, but not of her pack, which sent chills up her spine.
Bravery wasn't something that was found aplenty in her, and instead she was the first to turn tail from a fight. Amazingly her pack didn't just dump her out for a better fighter, and a team member that would actually make sure to kill the enemy if needed. Now, hearing enemy howls echoing in her ears, warning her of what land she was approaching, she slowly started to back up.
It'd be OK if no one knew what secrets were really hidden with the creek, and she was pretty sure the others would understand her backing away. She backed away from fights.... Wait.... It came to her as swiftly as a dream, stinging like that of a bee's mark freshly made upon her skin. That's why I came. To prove them otherwise... She stopped, and took a step forward, ready to head out to the creek. It was only a few inches away, it had to be if she could see it through this fog. She wasn't as close as she needed to be, though, to prove them wrong. All she had to do is bring her face low to the waters, peer deep within their murky depths, and place her front two paws in it. Trotting back to her pack, they'd all have to agree that she wasn't a completely, hopeless coward after all, or at least she hoped that they would.
It happens once you touch the water, for sure... Her head rang with Buk's, her dear friend within the pack, words as he spoke. He spoke as if he had just seen the most violent display of murder from one wolf upon another, with both to be from the same pack. A low smirk made its way upon her mouth, and she shook her head, thinking of how much of an idiot he could act at times. But soon she put that in the back of her mind, a small gulp made from her as it slid the liquid that lined itself at the bottom of her jaw down her throat, and she lowered her head towards the waters. Within it, something flickered, as it it wanted to barely tap the waters, and nothing else.
Chuckling was sounded from behind her body, and another voice rang with it into the sick silence, shattering it into a million broken pieces, as another sounded with it. "Well, well, well.." It spoke, slowly at first, the evilness in the tone being what she listened to. A thick chill flew down her spine, all the way to the tip of her tail and back up, to the tip of her nose. Her jaws hung apart, as her eyes grew as wide as a basketball, herself fearing to turn around and face this enemy. "If it isn't one from the Jahovi pack. Don't be shy, turn around and show us that pretty face of yours.." The chuckling voice commanded, patience having to be something found strong within it's beholder. She could hear them all chuckling, behind her back, as she slowly started to twist her head towards the right, turning her paws that way as well, then turned immediately back to the waters.
