I ran with all my might. The ASP was chasing me after I stole a few pokémon and shot a few trainers.
"I don't even have a lisence to train pokémon!" I thought. "Come on, girly!"
My partner's name was Chia-Chan but I didn't care. I called her girly just to annoy her.

"Watch it!" I barked, turning my eyes to glance at my partner Drak, while carrying a Growlithe in my hands. It was one of the three I stole, and the Houndour decided to follow at my heels. That's why collars and leashes were invented. ^_^ To help you make sure they decide of the right choice! I ran right beside him, my feet pounding on the earthen ground. I drew my breathes quickly, my heart racing. As I was racing, away from them.
The other Pokémon, a Poochyena, happened to be sealed in a Pokéball. It wasn't an easy one for a leash, and I soon realized trying to make it follow me would result in strangling it with the leash. Of course, this couldn't be allowed.
Those stinkin' APS! Who did they think they were, the way they treated Pokémon. I heard the bark of the Growlithe, more of a growl actually, but I didn't stop. It began to struggle in my grip, so I clung tighter to it. I had to watch my grip though, I couldn't allow any damage to take hold upon its body. It reminded me a lot of a Growlithe back home, who should right now be getting a nice lunch..
Sure, I killed a few people, but it was for the better of the Pokémon. These creatures were SMARTER than us, and yet we humans can treat them like dirt, day in and day out. It sickened me, and I only hoped others who had the same heart as the APS came to a quick and sudden death.

My feet pounded along the ground with all their might, and I was neck and neck with my partner. soon I gained more speed, as he had to be slightly preoccupied, his Starly pecking him so. Hopefully he wouldn't stop his running. Then they could easily get him. not a smart move. The growlithe in my hands chomped down on my arm. The pain welled up in it, coiling around my hand and lashing out from the inflicted pain to spread in my body. i ignored the little joker, still running. My lungs bashes against my rib cage, my heart thrashing against them with all its might. I knew they wanted me to stop, to take in deep breaths while sitting calmly down somewhere, and to get over it. "Life's not butterflies," I hissed venomous to my partner, "It's kill or be killed. I prefer to kill. They choose to join, EVEN from peer pressure, they choose a possible death via my hands."
That meant the same for my partner, should he ever change sides. I doubted he would, but you never knew. Best friends could turn on each other. *, even true soul mates could turn on their lover. In this world, the ugly truth that stared you in the face was simple: No one but yourself is truly worth trusting. Seriously, it was too easy for another to turn.
My only goal in life is to work with Pokémon in some form or another. My passion was in helping them as much as I could. I loved raising them more than ever, and working with more endangered species, then anything. There was so much i could help them out with, maybe.... Just maybe...
My eyes flickered to a sharp turn, and quickly I slammed my back into a wall on the other side of the turn. That just slowed me down. I took back off, breathing heavily as the Growlithe yanked at my hand. I couldn't blame the fellow as much as I might want to. But...I didn't want to. I could see why he could hate me, for simply being a human. After where he had just been, I could really see that. "I'll give you fish later, just stop biting 'kay?" That wouldn't work, but it was worth a shot. I used a very soothing tone too, to help ease the pup's mind off of all the horrible things going on around it. A calming voice, so very pleasant to the ears if used with the right beat for music, could lull one to a lovely, peaceful sleep in shear seconds' time.
No time to think of that, I kept racing across the ground, just hoping my partner was somewhere nearby.
