Silver waited for him to get directly infront of her, then jump on him, so she was riding on his back.

"Easiest way to win a race!"

Gold tried to get her off him, but couldn't, so he had no choice than to keep running

"How do you stay on?"

Silver saw the pokemon center. She did a flip off his back, and sped towards the line.

Silver walked out of the pokemon center, refreshed and raring to go.
