Flame lowered her head.

"you'll either fly on my head or hang on for dear life at my tail. I'll let you choose."

Drake braced himself as they took off, then watched the world below, which seemed small now.

Crystal had climbed onto her back. Her tail swayed back and forth, as flame rose, her claws holding on but not tight enough to really peirce the flesh.

She held on as tight as she could without holding on as tight as she had been. Her eyes followed a passing Pidgey, as its wings flapped against the wind. Why was it that they captured pokemon. Now she wondered, even though she done it herself when she was a human. She stared more at the bird. Maybe they liked being free. What right did they have to take that away.

Turning a new chaptre in the book, she stared up at the sky. A few clouds dotting the scene here and there, but none looked like they could support the weight of holding back rain for later. THe sun shone brightly, only delayed for a few minutes as a cloud crossed by it. Soon the moon would be up, and she shook her head then. She had to keep wqatching where they were going and listening in for more orders from her 'one way airplane flight'.

She took in the sweet scents in the air. Each scent, even the most foulest scent, was sweet in some way. THough, she'd never be able to find the sweetness of any foul scent, it was just a small fact. THere had to be life out there on other planets, she knew. She felt the wind blow past her, though Flame wasn't flying slowly, so it was rushing past her. Even though it was anything but a gentle breeze, she enjoyed the wind rushing through her fur.

They were nearing the island, but suddenly Flame slowed.

"I can't go any further..... Do you two know how to swim?"
