she snatched a small berry from it and examined it for a few seconds.

she flew high in the sky, then charged for grendel, squitler, and the sleeping scientist.

raven swooped down to the water, knocking her tail in the scientist's face.
he fell unconscious for the third time.
"okay, i have the berry," she said.

"Heal him." Grendel said.

"here, squitler, eat this."
raven handed him the berry.

The Scientist woke up, again. Grendel noticed and said "Raven, don't knock him out!"

"don't worry, i won't."
raven picked the scientist up by the front collar of his coat.
"it's time to get some information."

"What do you want from me?" the scientist asked.

"ready to answer questions?" raven said.
she gave the scientist a threatening look.

"Yes, just don't eat me!" The scientist said.

"good. first question: who's the genius behind all this?"

"Why sould you know?" the scientist asked in a snappy tone.

"because i said so," raven remarked, raising her fist.

"Okay, calm down!" the scientist said.
