"Wait, I know how to protect Difloon!" Felix said. "But I need the TM Safeguard or Protect." Felix said. Abra fell on the ground, almost fainted. "Return, Abra." Felix said holding up his pokeball. "Go Starly!" Felix shouted. "Use peck!" The pecks where distracting Gyarados. "Drake, this is your chance to stock pile a little, then attack!" Felix said.

Dusk slapped her head, "Oh right, and were just magically have that TM, Protect? And as for Safeguard, imunity to stat problems are really help our Pokemon, when there fainted! It doesn't matter any way, as long as Gyrados is using Trash, it won't matter anyways if Drifloon is hit."

"Yeah, I guess so. As long as Starly is distrcting it, and Gyarados is still charging." Felix said, "All we do is just wait now..." Felix sat down and watched Starly peck and Drifllon using Stockpile.

The feeling washed over Drake like waves of water. He felt full of power, but....afraid, afraid to have too much power. Is this how Drifloon feels? Drake couldn't stand it anymore. "DRIFLOON, SPIT UP!" Drake shouted, having the feeling rush from him. Drifloon's glowing stopped, and it fired an arc of energy into the air, over Starly and Piplup, into Gyarados. Gyarados stiffened his neck in the air and gave a sharp roar, then submerged into the water. Drake caught Drifloon as it fell from exhaustion. "Drifloon, are you okay??" Drake asked his pokemon. "Foon...." It said weakly.

The Spark attack came right at Munchy. It carshed into him and did 24 HP damage. He now had 51 left. "Munchy, use Nature Power!" Andrew yelled. "Munch!" Munchy cried, and used Nature power, which promptly turned into Earthquake. It came right at Kieran's Shinx, and hit it full force.

"some help you were. the gyarados is gone now," zenna said with an icy glare directed right at her piplup.
"lup!" he breathed out, relieved.
he hopped out from behind the bush and waddled over to the exhausted drifloon.

"Glad that's over," Dusk Sighed in relif and turned to Drake. "Hey, I havn't seen a Drifloon before, there pretty rare, right!"
"Lup, pip pi lup piplup..." Piplup sighed, with hint of annoyance.
"But there's one thing I don't get, Drifloon doesn't learn Stockpile till level 22, and Swallow, Spit Up till 5 levels later, is your Driftloon really higher than level 27?" Dusk asked confused.

"Wow, that's a strong Drifloon!" Felix exclaimed. Felix down at the weak and tired Drifloon. He got down and and gave it a few berries. "Here, Drifloon." Felix said, giving it the berries. Felix got up and said, "Yeah Drake, what level is your Drifloon?"

zenna ran over to join them.
piplup's face was directly next to drifloon's.
he was staring with wide eyes.
"stop that!" she scolded, snatching him up.

"16" Drake mumbled absentmindedly. His eyes were on Drifloon, it was looking really wiped out. "Drifloon, return..." He muttered, recalling Drifloon. He sighed, I shouldn't of told him to do that....I should of known he wasn't ready

"Yeah, it's something we've been working on...." He answered Dusk. "Neither of us like it though, we started to try it when gust just wouldn't work. That's why I'm looking to teach it another attack, to replace it, I don't want Drifloon to do that again". Drake looked at Piplup and smiled, then tossed it an Oran berry.

The shinx took the hit full force and lost all of it's HP. "Yeah, I won!" Fazzy cried, and celebrated with Munchy and Turtwig. Then he heard a really LOUD roar from near the lake.

piplup's stomach growled as he allowed the oran berry to land in his mouth.
he chewed it contently.
"thanks. seems like he was hungry," zenna said.
she then turned to drake.
"i'm amazed your drifloon was even able to do that at all, though."

"So was I first time it happened" Drake replied, "I should get home to get my Drifloon healed, I forgot to bring some things anyway".

With a wave, Drake was walking home.

Andrew ran towrards the lake and met Drake walking home. "What happened at the lake?" He asked curiously.

"well, i think it would be smarter not to disturb gyarados."
