Roleplaying rules

I am extremely dedicated to giving people what they want and need, and roleplaying can be a very deep matter which is why I have gave it it's own forum. It also has it's own unique set of BBCode and rules.

Firstly, the BBCode is as follows:
Out of Character talk

[ooc]blah blah[/ooc]

Which looks like:
[ooc]blah blah[/ooc]

In character talk

[ic]blah blah[/ic]

Which looks like:
[ic]blah blah[/ic]

Descriptions

Code: Select all

[desc]blah blah[/desc]

Which looks like:
[desc]blah blah[/desc]

Roleplaying tags must be in use at all times, the only time when you are permitted to not use them is when setting up the roleplay, any necessary intervals and whatnot and the end of the roleplay (if it ends)

Roleplaying tags are not meant to be nested within each other, but are meant to be used separately. What I mean is:

[ic]Hi I am John and I'll tell you about my world[desc]My world is beautiful[/desc] Now I'll tell you about my cat[/ic]

is incorrect. Rather, you should lay out your post like this:

[ic]Hi, I am John and I'll tell you about my world[/ic]
[desc]My world is beautiful[/desc]
[ic]Now I'll tell you about my cat[/ic]

As with every other forum the rules and regulations still apply here, and don't forget that this is a forum for all ages, so while violence and such is allowed, please be sure not to make it too graphic.
