OOC: If you wish to sign up for this RPG, please click here. For those who have already joined, I would like you to start out getting the letter in some form, or almost getting the letter. All letters will be the same, except for the addressee, so don't worry about being creative with that. Also, until we have eight people, try to draw out your travelling a bit, and maybe meet others that are in your region and on the road with you. When we have all eight, though, try to hurry it up just a bit. This is to prevent any boredom while waiting for others, because when your character is just sitting around in a waiting room, it gets tedious. Anyway, onward with the RPG!

BIC:

"Char! Charmeleon! Char-Char!" Jess! Jessica! You got mail!

Jessica calmly stepped out of her small home, out of the gloomy atmosphere that always comes with immenent death and into the bright, cheerful late June sunshine. Her Charmeleon, good ol' Quetzal, at at the end of the weed-dotted walk, calling to her while holding a manilla envelope in his strong claws. Jess pushed back a strand of golden-brown hair behind her ear, one of the few strands that escaped the grasp of the dark green scrunchie. Quetzal was already trying to rip it open when she snatched it out of his grasp.

"Gimme that! You're not supposed to look through my mail! Or anyone else's, either." She scolded, looking over the envelope briefly. Running sideways in the middle was her name and address, Nothing weird about that, and in the right-hand corner was a stamp, decorated with the offical seal of the International Pokemon Police - IPP for short. No return address. She curiously tore off the top and reached inside, pulling out two slips of paper. The opened slip was a map of Johto and Kanto, with Olivine City marked. On the back were three different sections; Hoenn, Shinou, and Orre maps, all with a seaport city marked. She slipped the map back inside the envelope, then opened the folded second paper.

Jessica DeLorean;

You have been chosen to be part of an elite force, handpicked to eradicate the current situation involving the five criminal teams of Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Galaxy, and Cipher. As you may have heard, their little dispute has interferred with public safety. You and nine others will make up this team, and you all will report to Olivine City. The city has been marked on the provided map, along with seaports that stop at Olivine City. You will go to the International Pokemon Police headquarters upon arrival, where you will recieve further instructions. Please come as soon as you obtain this letter. Come alone. No one is to know about this mission.

Jessica stood silently, excitement mixing with curiousity, wariness, and mild fear. Quetzal stood beside her, puzzled by the blank expression on his trainer's face. After a few moments, puzzlement morphed into worry and he hurried inside to fetch Jessica's older sister.

"raichu, rai," jolt said as vix entered the restroom.
"g' morning, jolt," she said.
she splashed cold water onto her face and wiped it with a towel.
vix began walking to the kitchen.
brock and his mother were waiting for her in the dining room.
"good morning, everyone."
"morning," brock greeted.
vix took a seat next to brock's mother and reached for her toast.
silk was staring blankly at the wall across from her.
she spread some jam on her toast and bit into it.
when she was done with breakfast, vix went to her room to change.
"c-coo," vlume greeted.
she tied her hair into a bun with a red ribbon.
"could you get the mail for us?" brock's mother asked politely when she returned to the dining room.
"sure."

"Go Jolteon!" Jay screamed.
Jay was battling the gym leader of the sootopolis, Juan.
"Jolteon use thunder on the water!" Jay screamed.
The thunder started to absorb into the water which caused the eletric
to spread.
The water zapped the Seaking jolteon was battling.
The eletric zapped seaing rapidly.
Finnaly seaking fainted.
"YES! I FINNALY GOT MY 8TH BADGE! WOOT!" Jay shouted with joy.
Then after a long celebration, Jay went home.
"Ahhh...... home at last. Lilycove city.Whoo! I'm tired! But one last thing..."
Jay checked his mailbox.
He noticed a letter.
"Hmm...... a letter! Let's go read it..............."

Quetzal returned outside, where Jess was sitting on the small step at the end of the walk, the letter still in her hands. Jessica's sister, almost excatly like Jess except she was older, healthier, had shorter hair, and had blue eyes instead of hazel. She came out in her pink bathrobe, finishing tying the knot as she walked. Her fuzzy pink slippers plopped on the pavement, gathering dirt from the side of the walk. Cathy was about 21, but was in Mahogany with her husband and two-year-old son to help out her and Jess's parents.

As they approached, Jessica rose with a sigh, folding the letter into a square and slipping it inside her pocket.

"Jess? What's wrong?" Cathy asked tiredly. "Your insane Charmeleon stabbed me until I got up!"

"Charmeleon-Char!" I did not, you liar!

"I have to go to Olivine.....There's some researchers there that can help Mom and Dad." She lied, using the acting skills she aquired in the Academy to her advantage. "I wrote to them as soon as we moved here, when they got worse."

"Oh....Why do you look so sad, then?" Cathy asked sincerely, believing her oh-so-truthful sister.

"Well, I didn't want to leave you and Lenny to care for Kyle and our parents by yourself...." She decieved, knowing her lie had gotten through when Cathy smiled.

"Oh, don't worry about us! Get to Olivine, pronto!" Cathy encouraged, recieving another smile from her sickly sister.

"We will! Come on, Quetzal!" Jessica said cheerfully, heading back inside to get her pokeballs and satchel. Maybe a sandwich, too.

Jay started on reading his letter.

Jay Crimson;

"Wow. Um......... guess i'll do it." Jay said.
So Jay took his salamance and flew away.
But on his way something happened his salamance fell asleep!
Jay was about to fell asleep too.
Closing his eyes Jay fell a THUMP louder than 100 firecrackers!
That THUMP made him wake up.
"AHH GREAT I'M LOST! Oh wait i'm not." Jay said
So he took out his pokenav and found where he is.
Near verdanturf town.
Jay decided to camp out here.
Lucky he brought a red tent.
So he setted up camp and blah blah.
But he heard something in the bushes and he went to check.........

OOC: yes, but i decided to tweak it a bit... if that's okay.

BIC: vix went outside to the mailbox.
the 'door' of it creaked when she opened it.
she dug her hand inside, and brought it out along with the daily mail.
walking back toward the house, vix flipped through each letter.
this is for auntie... this is for brock...
she paused at the front of the door when she noticed the letter from the IPPF.
wait a minute, this one's for me... but i never get mail.
"well, it's got the official seal," vix inquired.
glancing around, she creeped to the side of the house and opened the letter.
inside were two pieces of paper.
one was a map of kanto and johto, and the other was a neatly folded piece of clean paper.
vix carefully folded it open and read it to herself:

Vix Barson;

Silent walked outside with absol along side of her. She walked to the mailbox and checked it. In it were to letters. She grabbed both of them. She just saw the top one which had Alex's name on it and expected them both to be for her friend. She then went inside climbing the stairs screaming Alex's name "Alex! Alex!" she then saw Haunter "Do you know were he's at?" Haunter nodded his head and lead her to where Alex was. She bow, she always made a joke out of it and gave him the letters. "These came in for you."

vix blinked.
then she shouted, "YESSS!"
she jumped up and down, then clasped her hands over her mouth.
wow, this is so neat... but what am i going to tell brock and auntie?
vix decided to think about that later.
she went back inside.
"oh, there you are. where have you been?" brock's mother asked.
"just... taking a stroll," vix replied, setting the mail(except the letter from the IPPF) on a coffee table.
"brock's out in his gym, if you need him."
"okay."
vix skipped to brock's gym with jolt.
she slowly opened the huge doors.
"brock? are you in here?" she asked.
"hi, vix."
brock was cleaning his onix.

"need some help?" vix asked while walking toward brock and his onix.
"no, i'm almost done. you can go sit over there on that bench and wait," he said as he pointed to a stone bench.
"okay."
vix and jolt stepped to the hard, rock bench and sat down.
she watched brock polish his onix and played around with jolt.
"alright, i'm done. stay right there and let me put these things away," brock said, picking up his things.
vix waited patiently, then remembered the letter from the IPPF.
okay, hmm... the letter says not to tell anybody... but i have to get to olivine city soon! maybe i'll lie or sneak out.
brock came back, and at that same time, the gigantic gym doors flew open.
a young trainer wearing a white cap entered the gym.
"i'm here to battle the gym leader!" he yelled.
"that's me," brock said calmly.
"i challenge you to a battle!"

When Jay checked it was a group of oddishs that maked him sleepy.
But Jay fell asleep by then.
Jay had a dream. He was suddenly falling. He kept on falling until
he fell into a abyss of darkness. There was pokemon. But
not the pokemon you see. They were evil. But Jay woke up by then.
The next day, he went to verdanturf town to enter in a contest.
He was going to the pokemon center to heal his salamence because
when it crashed it was hurt.
He noticed a bunch of trainers at the pokemon contest.
He saw the winners of the last contest since he got there.
The first palce was Caitlin Wesnitzer.
The second place was someone named Seth Burnington.
The third place was Natalie Brown.
"Wow I have no clue who these people are." Jay said.
So he went the counter to sign up for the contest.

After reading the list of letters, Alex found some information on a tournament. "A tournament in the Kanto reigion?" Alex thought to himself. "Alright Silent, we're going to Kanto!" Alex said.

vix watched the battle.
first rattata used quick attack on geodude, and geodude rock throw on rattata.
while geodude and rattata were fighting, vix got an idea.
i'll leave them a note, then sneak out. that might work.
she grinned at the thought of it, then heard a loud noise.
geodude had used selfdestruct.
both rattata and geodude were out cold.
"i'll be going now," vix told brock, getting up and walking to the exit with jolt.
she waved and strolled back home with a smile.
"welcome back, dearie," her aunt greeted.
vix ate lunch and went to sleep early that day.

vix's alarm rang softly, but just enough so that it could wake her up.
she mumbled and turned it off.
she rubbed her eyes and looked carefully at her clock.
it was exactly 11:30, just as vix planned it to be.

After Jay signed, he went to the battle.
"All right this battle will be a single battle with no rules!" The announcer said.
"The battle will be the trainer Jay Crimson from lilycove city,
and his opponent, Jake Springfield from Mossdeep city!
Let the battle begin!
"Go salamence!" Jay said.
"Go luvdisc!" Jake said.
"Salamence use flamethrower!"
"Luvdisc use ice beam!'
The ice turned into ice shards which fused into the flames.
It hit luvdisc directly!
"Luvdisc, use quick attack."
Salamence was hit.
"Use headbutt salamence! Then use reflect!"
Luvdisc was hit.
It fainted!
"That was quick." Jay said.
"Now go wailord!" Jake said.
"Uh oh......... we in troble now.........." Jay said.

Caitlin held out the letter in front of her. "Hmm..." To the left was the ship to Olivine City. To the right, was the sip going to Mossdeep. "Let's see... Eighth gym badge, or some police nonsense? What do you think, Hubert?" "Shuppet!" "You know, even though I have no idea what you just said, we're going to Mossdeep regardless." Caitlin smiled and tossed the peice of paper into the air. Hubert rolled his eyes.
...
"What do you mean he can't get on!?" The officar looked down at her and glared. He was at least 6 foot. "Sorry, Miss. The captain is deathly afraid of pokemon. Either you put him in a pokeball or you don't come on." Hubert made a loud whining sound. "Fine. I'll get there on my own." Caitlin taunted. "I don't need your fancy boat." She turned around a walked off while muttering to herself "Now, where can I get a fishing rod...?"
