You Could Be A TPC Gym Leader

As inspired by the following topic:
http://www.thepikaclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5515
The Pika Club has decided to create its own Pokémon league. While the league itself won't be interactive, and users won't be able to fight against them, we will need your help to create the league.
We need 8 Gyms for our own league. And it could be yours
All we need you to do is submit your idea for your own Gym. We'll give you the information we would like, but you can submit whatever ideas you have for your gym. After we have all the submissions, the Elite 4 (a.k.a. the staff members) will pick the 8 winners and show you our Pokémon League.
For an idea on what we're looking for, here are a few questions you could answer:
What type of Pokémon are you going to specialise in?
What Pokémon would you use?
What attacks would they have? What Levels are they at?
What would you Gym Badge be called?
What Number would your Gym be (e.g 5th Gym)?
What would be special about the gym, what traps or puzzles would it have? (if any)
You don’t have to answer all of those questions, nor do you have to just be limited by them. You can give us any and all information that you want about your Gym. Want to give us what you want to wear, what your badge looks like - go right ahead. The more information the better, but you can still win if you don’t give us loads of information as long as the idea is good.
Don’t worry if someone else says they want fire type Pokémon, if you also want to have a fire gym... this is a competition after all and it's not first come first served. You get to create the Gym you want.
You also don’t have to be limited by Pokémon type. If you want a Steel type gym, have a Steel type. But there are other links you could have your gym on. What about a Gym that specialises in Baby Pokémon, or Pokémon that have two types. Pokémon with a ‘Pressure’ ability, or ones that can learn the different types of punches (Thunderpunch, Fire Punch, Mach Punch etc). As long as there is a common link between the Pokémon, you can pick whatever you want.
The 4th Generation of Pokémon (I.E. those from Diamond and Pearl) may be included in your squads. If you are giving us 4th gen Pokémon that currently do not have English names, please supply us with their National Dex number to make our lives a little easier.
A couple of rules in order to make this as realistic as possible:
1. Try to make your Pokémon's level (if you’re supplying them) about the level you would expect for your gym number (if you’re supplying that)
Please be aware that if you and someone else pick the same Gym number, that doesn’t mean we have to chose one or the other. We may well chose both, and adjust both the gym number and Pokémon levels to match. So while you are supplying this information, it is just a guide that we will try to stick to.
2. If you’re supplying Moves for your Pokémon, you can have any move that the Pokémon is able to learn. It doesn’t matter if they learn it by levelling up, TM, breeding or move tutor, as long as they can learn the move. You also don't have to worry about the level of a Pokémon matching the level of a move it learns. You can have a level 10 Bulbasaur that knows Razor Leaf, despite not learning it until level 20
3. When picking your Pokémon for your team, you may pick multiples of the same Pokémon for your team. But don’t go overboard. We will unlikely pick a gym that has 6 Pikachu in a squad, but we would consider a gym with 2 Pichu, 2 Pikachu and 2 Raichu
4. While the first few Gyms only have 2 or 3 Pokémon in their squad, we will not look bad upon any gym that uses all 6 Pokémon. So you may have any number of Pokémon (maximum of 6) regardless of if you’re Gym 1 or Gym 8
5. You may enter more than one suggestion for a Gym. However, since the username will be the name of the Gym Leader, and Gym Leaders can’t run more than one Gym at a time, you can only win one of the 8 Gym lists. But you can come up with lots of ideas, if you wish.
6. No Legendary Pokémon can be used in your squad. Since the definition of Legendary Pokémon has been in dispute (even in The Pika Club) the staff have created a list with the Pokémon you barred from use.
Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regiice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Raquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Yukishii(480), Emuritto(481), Agunomuu(482), Diaruga(483), Parukia(484), Hiidoran(485), Regigigas(486), Giradina(487), Kureseria(488), Fione(489), Manaphy(490), Darkrai(491), Sheimi(492), Aruseus(493)
Any Squads that include any of those Pokémon will have it removed from the squad.
7. You cannot be disqualified from this competition. If there is info missing that we need, or things that need to be changed due to violation of the above rules, you will either be asked to change it yourself or informed that the staff will be doing it.
Now that you know all this, you’ll probably want to know how to enter. Well you can reply and post your Gym ideas and info in this topic. You have a month to get your entries in… on the 11th of February this competition will end and we will not accept any more entries.
Not only will you be a Gym Leader in the Pika Club’s Pokémon League, we’ll be creating a page on the main site with all your Gym’s info. We’re also offering Pika Points to all the 8 winners as well.
So get thinking and get creating. We only want the best Gyms for our Pokémon League. So get thinking, get creating and get entering.
Edit: Could we please leave this thread for submisions only... no comments. Anything other than a submission will be deleated. Also can we have 1 reply per submission... We will allow double posting in this thread alone as long as the submissions are different.
