Melee! Pokémon Scramble

So what do people think of this newly announced Wiiware game? It sounds like Super Smash Bros but featuring exclusively Pokémon. I don't see it being the same level of quality as a SSB game but depending on the price (and obviously if it ever gets released over here) it might be worth picking up.

it sounds a bit slimed down to be honest, both controls and features, from super smash bros, but it basically is a pokemon version of it. Although i've heard (and i dont know how true it is) that in the battle royal mode, there will be more pokemon on screen than just 4 people.
sounds alright to be honest, but i think i'd like to see it in action before i consider spending 1500 points on it

Sounds interesting.
Though, I really don't need to add another "smash bros." to my collection.

this footage it plays almost nothing like a Smash Bros game.

As mentioned in our latest news post - this game is now called 'Pokemon Rumble' and should be out on wiiware in the states soon. though we dont have an actual date yet.

just played through the Demo.
Off to get a Wii-Points card (Never had wii-points before) to DL this game... I think its schweeettt!
