I picked up Pearl because A) I had the Jap Diamond and B) Everone else seems to be getting Diamond... so my Palkia has just become a hot property and I havent even met it yet

I got Diamond because I think Dialga is ever so slightly cooler than Palkia.

Same here, Diagla was the reason I got Diamond too.

I got Diamond because it has cooler-looking Pokemon, and I'm not just talking about Dialga.
I also think it's odd that the DS card isn't colored plastic.

Maybe it's because it's too small to actually dye it or they don't have a colour for Diamond or Pearls.SonicKitsune wrote:

I think that it's mainly the first reason, because it could have been clear for Diamond and iridescent white for Pearl.

I got Pearl because all my cousins were getting Diamond. So I was thinking we can get all the pokemon by trading and stuff.

I got Pearl - today.
I used my paper dice to help me decide...

Funny that Anne... that's exactly my plan - although I actually have the money for it now so I don't need to save up, but not the point.
