I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHH!!!! In D/P, (I have diamond) you can only get a munchlax by spreading sweet honey on a sweet-smelling tree which can only be by the Valley Windworks and there's only one tree and then you only have a 16.5 percent chance of the Pokemon on the tree being a munchlax and you have to come back exactly the next day and then, even if you come back the next day and meet a munchlax, you might make it faint or not catch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all... we have a new forum completly dedicated to Diamond and Pearl - so if it relates to D/P - post it there...

Second. Is Munchlax only available by the windworks? I only know of one source that says that... and even that says the word 'possibly' - the rest just say via honey trees.

It takes about 10-12 hours I've noticed for the Honey to take effect and a Pokémon be there.... and the more the tree shakes the rarer the Pokemon. Munchlax isnt the only Pokemon you can only catch via the honny trees either. Aipom, Heracross, Cherubi, Combee (which you really need to catch a female and only about 12% of Combee are female) and Burmy are all only catchable via honey... just for all those who didnt know

No I knew that, but I've tried everywhere else and all the other websites say that it's only available by the Valley Windworks... *sigh* oh well.....

Until I see it officially... I'll try about 3 trees at the same time... the fact one of them happens to be the vally windworks has no relevence....

And if anybody finds a Munchlax in any other honey tree... I think we all need to know

Well the offical guid says it can be found there, and on routs 205 (floroma town side), 206. 207, 208, 209, 210, 210 (mist), 211 (celestc town side), 212, 212 (rain), 213, 214, 215, 218, 221, 222, floaroma medow, eterna forest.
so, unless the offical guid is wrong, quite you winning, at lest you can get it on both versions. I wanted Manene, but I desided to get Peal. That means I get Bonsly, not Manene. (I had a name picked out and every thing)

I have one... I got it via WTS on Wi-Fi. It has a japanese name though.

Is it possible to breed a Munchlax? With a Ditto?

Oh, and today I found a 'Full Insense' in my bag... that's the one needed for Munchlax breeding correct?

That would be imposible, since Muchlax cannot breed. (baby pokemon can't breed, it'd be a bad exsaple to the kiddies. ) How ever if you evole it in to snorlax, you can
