well , i caught a shiny staravia. its not special , its brown =(. but i got shiny spinda and shiny rosellia from trades. i love my shiny rosellia

Neither have I... yet. I'll avoid the Battle Tower (or whatever it's called now) until I get a Shiny. Usually I would have caught one by now...

I caught a shiny Wailmer. I would be thrilled, except... I also caught a shiny Wailmer on my Sapphire. What are the chances of that? -_-;

The only one I've caught is my /precious/ Gyarados. I have many more from trading, however. =D

Did they make it harder to get them or do you have to use the stupid PokÃ© Radar? Because in Gold and Sapphire, I caught a Shiny before the 100-hour mark. I'm way past that and the only one I have was the Shiny Zigzagoon I imported from Sapphire. I actually caught it instead of getting it with the Berry Program Patch (with the Patch, I got Jirachi).

as far as i know, it hasnt become any harder to find a shiny in the wild... they do show up (as i've seen one in the wild) but the pokeradar can make it slightly easier to tell if there's a shiny hiding - still based of the same chance though.

I've got a shiny mankey :mankey:, I mentioned that in my first post. I found it in leafgreen on my way to Victory Road just before the Elite Four.

Anyway, I still haven't gotten any shinies in trades, but I'm looking for Gyarados, Cubone, Kangaskhan, Gengar and Milotic as well as any legendaries. Cubone is top priority,

Also, I read today in a faq (no telling how reliable it is though) that in Silver/Gold/Crystal shiny pokemon were pokemon who had acceptionally high IV's (Individual Values=a pokemon's extra points that are completely random with every pokemon.) Shinies aren't any tougher than regular Pokemon anymore, which is lame.

The only shiny pokemon I have is a shiny golbat I imported from my Sapphire

The only one I caught was a shiny marril. (it was green) Of course, i have many others from trades, including my AMAZING salamence!
