Old-School Shiny Hunting: Day 25
Because I had to switch the time for Daylight Savings, the Cubone swarm continued. Afterwards, I went to the Underground.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding legendary Pokémon, too. It's nice to see someone else sharing the burden for once, a lot of places I go I see people with whole teams of shiny Pokémon and wonder how lucky they must be to have found all of them.

Well, they use the Poké Radar, which seriously ups your chances of finding a Shiny, but it takes a certain method to keep getting Shinies. I'm just doing it in the old-school fashion because I want to. I want to actually get one like I did before in Sapphire somehow. Then I might consider using the Poké Radar. It's kind of like fishing (as explained in King of the Hill), where people with their fluorescent bait and whatever get fish, but the people still using worms get the full experience.

Yeah, it seems kind of pointless, but it's my game, and I can do this while doing other stuff. It doesn't require much thinking, and all I have to do is look at the screen every encounter. I take fairly frequent breaks when doing this.

In short, I'm enjoying the game, and not rushing through it like everyone wants to. I paid for it, and I'm going to get more than my money's worth.

I finished transferring the Pokémon from Sapphire and Colosseum that I wanted. I also made Eggs of several of those Pokémon to help complete the Pokédex.
