Disappearing Pokemon?
Strange thing happened to me today. While I was fishing I caught two Goldeen using the old rod. After my pokedex registered them as caught, I went to my box, only to find that they weren't there. My fishing stats tell me that they should be caught and in the box. Is that a bug?

A mistake on my part while applying a minor fix to something else, thanks for reporting it. I've fixed it now.

Thanks! While the previously caught Goldeen still aren't in my box, the next one seems to be in it's proper place.

Re: Disappearing Pokemon?
I also have an issue with a Pokemon I caught from the bug contest which happened to be a Scyther, but when I go to my box it does not appear at all in my box or Pokedex as being seen or caught. I entered the contest yesterday and checked my box today. Any help with this? I don't know if I am not understanding how the contest works or not cause I am rather new still, so any ideas or anything to help let me know please and thank you!

Re: Disappearing Pokemon?
it quite clearly states on the front page of the national park 'The 3 winners each get a prize and everyone gets the Pokémon they've caught taken away from them to be released back into the wild for the next contest!'
you wont have the pokemon in your box as you dont get to keep it

Oh okay, I must have just misunderstood or read it wrong but alright thank you that answers my question. Like I said I am rather new and still figuring things out. So the Pokemon you see in contest aren't considered as seen in your Pokedex after seeing them?

No, the national park doesn't affect your pokedex in any way. The only way to see a pokemon is by clicking on it in someone elses trainer card
