The only reason I ask is when I went to my bag and used a sun stone it only showed me my MALE Sunkern, even though I also have 2 FEMALE ones???

i was going to say, doesnt matter on the gender, sunkern will evolve into sunflora

if i'm right, gender specific evolutions didnt really get introduced until gen 4... both sunkern and sunflora are gen 2

the reason it showed just your male sunkern was because when you try to evolve via stones - it only showes you ONE of your available pokemon that can evolve via that stone, not all available... your male was probably the first one it displayed
