This is a national disaster for Japan and a very sad time but it will not really effect Pokémon.

It hasn't been canceled, officially it's been postponed, which means it should air sometime in the future...
Then again, there was an episode a few years back featuring whiscash that was postponed (for similar reasons if I recall), but it never did air when it was rescheduled for and has never been seen since. This episode was never shown when it came across to the USA... And there's no evidence it was even translated and dubbed. So what happens to the rocket double episode and a 3rd episode which has also been postponed is unknown - especially since the English episodes are closer airing to thief Japanese counterparts than they were when the whiscash ep vanished

Look at "Pokemon episodes removed from rotations" on Wikipedia under canceled in Japan. Oh, also look at the one where Ash has a gun at his head... that's just dramatic!
