I have six enigma berries now. And my blastoise finally levelled up again.

Just got 9 enigma berries, decided to dump out all my mulch on it.

Let's see.... well over 300 kabutos bred with starf berry, and all the same color. So I'm guessing that the chance of starf berry and enigma berry making a shiny is well under 1%... that or I'm very unlucky.

The usual chance is 1/4125. Berries halve that, and on days Cynthia is at the train station that is halved again so even with everything going for you you could easily not get a shiny from 300 Pokémon.

Of course, chances are still far higher you'll get a shiny here than on the real games

Do the eggs look very different if there is a shiny pokemon inside?

And 9 enigma berries... XD I only got six because that's the number of pokemon that can be in my party. Speaking of which, do pokemon holding said berry become shiny after a certain amount of clicks or is it just there is a chance it can happen?

trust me, if you get a egg with a shiny pokemon in it - you'll KNOW there's a difference... there is no mistaking it between a normal egg

As for the enigma berry, its a chance of it going shiny every time its clicked, which is again halfed when Cynthia shows up.
