Just put mine in the party...heck even if it doesn't get to level 6 before Sunday hits, it'll still hatch within the week! lol I think I'll put my Kyogre egg out too

I'm just waiting till one of my old Pokémon evolves to its final evolution before I change it for one of the eggs in my box.

Oh also, does anyone know how long it takes for an Egg to hatch?

depends on its rairaty, which will depend on where its from. Common Eggs will usually hatch in about an hour, while rare eggs (usually with legendaries in them) will take a couple of weeks... and there's various time frames in between

You can cut egg times in half if its in your party, it will gain exp as people interact with it. If it gets to level 6 it cuts the hatching time in half. If it hits 11 (i think) it cuts it in half again... but i've never seen an egg level 11 yet - bad news is that once its hatched, the pokemon is level 1, its only the Egg that's getting the exp while its in your party.

Eggs need to be in your party for them to hatch though, but you can easily switch it in to hatch the egg then switch it out again until you want it in your party (if you ever do)

6 is correct on the first time the egg hatch time gets cut in half. level 16 is the 2nd time an egg gets it's egg hatch time cut in half. there used to be a basic AA guide somewhere on the AA that had that listed on it. also i raised my first egg that hatched into jirachi to level 16. lol
