I Don't Own My Pokemon?

Interesting thing happened when I went to Sevii Three to evolve my Piloswine: She told me I didn't own it.

The Piloswine was in my party at the time, rather than in my box, so I imagine this is related to party/ranch/whatever Pokemon still counting as in such-and-such box. It seems like either a) party Pokemon shouldn't show up as options to evolve, or b) she should be willing to evolve the ones in your party, too. Otherwise, it's just confusing.

So I'm slightly confused as to the bug. Did she accept it when it was in your box?

I notice the text says:

I've had a look in your box and below is a list of all your Pokémon that I can help evolve.

But I can see from the code it'll actually accept any relevant Pokémon regardless of whether it's in your party or box.

I know there are people who have obtained Mamoswine here so I'm not sure exactly why it didn't work for you. Or did it?

When the Piloswine was in my party, it showed up as a Pokemon she could evolve, but she would not accept it on the grounds that I did not own it. When I transferred it from my party to my Default box, she evolved it for me without issue. The bug I'm talking about is that she apparently checks your party along with your box to find all the Pokemon she can help evolve, but is unwilling to actually help anything that is in the party rather than in the box. At least, that's how it worked for me.

Oh I see the problem now. I've changed it so that she will now only look for and accept boxed Pokémon.
