Animal Crossing
Does anyone here own.play Animal Crossing? I do I got it about 2 years ago for my birthday, it's imported from Canada because at the time it didn't look like Nintendo would release it in Europe. 2 years on and they have, but I don't care, I'm glad I imported it rather than waited for a stupid amount of time. I know Nintendo doesn't like people importing games, but when they take 2 years to get a game to come out in one region when it's already out in another, they have to seriously rethink their plans.
Anyway, perhaps we could get some discussion going between Animal Crossing fans, and maybe even some item trades ? My name is Roy and my town name is Maytown. I've caught every single insect and am about 5 fish away from completing that collection too. I've also got all of the fossils and am about 3 paintings away from a complete set of them too, so I'm really looking for paintings to complete my set if anyone has any

What is that secret?
i know 2 secrets the first is if you find a gold spot dig up the money and you can bury more money in that spot and a money tree will grow if you take care of it and if you bury a shovel in a gold spot you will get a tree with a gold shovel
the second secret is that 1 of the rocks in your town is a money rock, hit it with your shovel and if it flashes red and money pops out you found it but you need to be fast in hitting and here is the pattern that the money pops out or something like that
10,10,10,100,100,1000

Animal Crossing is sort of like The Sims. The basic storyline is this: You are about to spread your wings and travel to a new town to make something of yourself. But where you're going, you don't know. A cat, Rover, sits next to you on the train (all the characters aside you are animals, hence "Animal" Crossing) and tells you of a friend he has in the town you're going to called Tom Nook. He's a racoon who owns a shop in the town and is a real estate manager too. Tom gives you a choice of one of hour houses to live in (the other three can be filled with other human players) and finds out you're short 18,800 Bells (the currency) So you must work off your debt by working for him. After that it just carries on, him upgrading your house and you repaying your debt until you've paid it all.
You interact with the town's villagers (who are animals) and can talk to them, do jobs for them and more. You can collect things like furnirute, insects, fish, fossils, paintings and more. It runs in real time too, based on your Gamecube's internal clock, so if it's 2:00AM Wednesday 28th November 2004 in real life, it will be 2:00AM Wednesday 28th November 2004 in game too (and at that time, most of the villagers will be asleep It's a lot more fun than it sounds.

Go up to Tom Nook in his shop and ask for "Other Things". You'll see two options: See Code and Give Code, or something to this effect, I'm trying to remember this from my head See Code is the one you select if you want to give an item to someone if I remember correctly, you select an item and type in the user's name and town name. Give code is when you give Tom Nook a code from someone else.
Want to trade some items ?
