What's behind Cubone's mask?

There was a reall nice Photoshopped picture of a "Cubone" on some forums I go to a couple of days ago. You can see it here: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v426/ ... 57a4fa.jpg

This leads me to the question: what is behind Cubone's mask? Or even Marowak's. To me it looks like a meerkat, and it's probably modelled after one, but has Cubone/Marowak ever taken off its mask? The spikes on its back seem even dinosaur-like.

yes your right maybe nintendo should make an item so it can take the mask off or on? what does everyone else think?

I aggree. Nintendo should think about that. I could look something like that. Remember that it's ears are pointy and it's mouth is out a bit.

Under Cubone's mask, it doesn't have to be an exact mold of its skeleton-mask it wears. If so... that would be scary. o.o

Ha ha, good point, I never gave a thought as to how the skull fitted onto Cubone/Marowak's face :lol:

for the "who's that pokemon" om pokemon today it was cubone and said "this pokemon wears the skull of its dead mother"

This is a fictitious creature made for little kids that we are talking about, I highly doubt they worried about minor details such as that

I know whats Behind the Mask, my bro said he saw an Episode where the Cubone/Marowak takes off the Mask and the True Face is Revealed!!!

i dont have the picture but i could describe it..oh and if you think its a Meercat, i think its not, Meercts dont have spikes on the back and even if they do, Cubone/Marowaks arents furry and they are simply...Fat? To Me, Cubone looks like a Mini Dinosaur with small head and big body, and Marowak looks like a Thin Dragon with a deadly skull!

im not sure about the episode since my brother only seen the real thing, thats just what i think...

i wish there is really an episode where the cubone/marowak takes off the mask...im soo curious about whats behind..(why did they create the cubone ithat mask anyway? maybe cause a raichu hit it and it suddenly hits the mother and the mother dies and he accidently wears the mask! Lol :shock: )
