The link cable works for both the Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP, but not the original Gameboy.
Not pertaining specifically to Pokémon R/S/E/C so I'm moving it to Gaming chat.

I do remember having that same problem once before actually, but not so long ago I linked up the GBA and the GBA SP and it worked fine so I really don't know what to say; officially they work together.
What make is your lnik cable? Official or third party?

Hmm I don't know what to suggest; what exactly happens? Does it connect? Does it freeze? Does it not recognise each other?

You're connecting your GBA to Colosseum? I thought you were talking about GBA to GBA SP; that's what a link cable is for, GBA-to-GC cable is for GBA to Gamecube

I've used goth a GBA and GBA SP and both work fine; chances are if it's freezing it's the game, make sure the cables are clean and slot in correctly and try again.

What's the point? There are no games that support GBA to GBC linkingPikachu90000 wrote:3rd-party ones can have the ability to use for both GBA and GBC.
