The Fearow landed gracefully in front of the gym, and a rather queasy Jessica stumbled off. After watching her take a few wary steps and lean up against the wall, the Fearow took off back to Mahogany. Jessica regained her balance and quelled her churning stomach, then released Quetzal. She looked around at her surroundings, then saw the IPPF building a few blocks down. That's convienient, Jess thought, then started for the building with Quetzal beside her.

"Well, now I'm really looking forward to your evolution." She said sarcastically to Quetzal, who merely replied with a puff of smoke from his nostrils. Jessica didn't notice Caitlyn as she(Jess) rounded the corner, headed for the IPPF building.

his growlithe began growling again.

"You know, though," Jasmine said. "This gym specializes in the rare steel-type." Caitlin was taken aback for a second. "Steel!? I've heard of those... but I never battle one before... there aren't many steel-types back in Hoenn."
"Shuppet!"
"That's right, Hubert. You can be my test run!"
"Shuppet!?"
"Go, Hubert!" Cailin called.
Shuppet sighed and moved out to the battle field. Jasmine tossed a pokeball into the room. It revealed a Magnemite. "Use Shadow Ball!" Hubert did as he was told, and the shadow Ball was a direct hit. But... the Magnetmite didn't seem to take any damage. "You won't beat me if you use ghost attacks!" Jasmine called. "Now, Magnemaite! Use Supersonic. Then use thunderbolt!" Hubert attempted to endure both attacks, but failed. Caitlin was stuned for a moment, but she got back on track. "Autumn! Go!" The Eapeon came out of it's pokeball and carried Hubert back to it's owner. "A Psychic type!? You really don't know anything about steel pokemon do you?" Magnemite shot a thunderwave that Espeon couldn't dodge. "Now use tackle Magnemite!" Jasmine called. the magnemite obeyed it's owner and attacked the Espeon, which fainted.
