No if the pokeballs heal them every time they go in side they wouldn't have the same damage as before when they come out, thats why when trainers see one ofthere pokemon badly hurt or in pain and there in a battle they have to withdraw from it and go to a pokemon center immediatly. So I'm guessng the inside is just a little hotel room that they just sleep in, but doesn't heal them atall.SonicKitsune wrote:I think the rest part is an accelerated matter repair chamber that normalizes their vitals. Simply put, it heals them at a faster rate than sleep.
A few questions about pokeballs...

My explanation doesn't make as much sense in the games as it does in the show, because sometimes a Pokemon gets severly KO'd, and they don't even go to a Center. It just heals itself.

How can that be? In the episode when that Ralts was hurt, wouldn't they capture it and then it would heal? But they didn't do that. They took it to the pokemon center. And besides, whats the point of even making a pokemon center if the pokemon would heal its self?SonicKitsune wrote:My explanation doesn't make as much sense in the games as it does in the show, because sometimes a Pokemon gets severly KO'd, and they don't even go to a Center. Of course it doesn't. The whole series about the Battle Frontier is wrong because the frontier is actually a separate area in Emerald. Plus, the way they compete in the show is just a normal battle. In the game, you have to navigate mazes and use rental Pokemon, depending on your location. And so far, there is no Ultimate Pokemon Competition where all of the Trainers who got all 8 Badges compete. You just defeat the Elite Four (Five). Anyway, about the healing thing, they didn't capture the Ralts because it wouldn't be honorable. But it was severely injured and it wouldn't work well, anyway, because it was illness, not severe physical damage.

I remember now. The ralts was sick. But read my post. Above yours. What was the point of even making Pokemon centers if the pokemon would just heal in its pokeball?SonicKitsune wrote:Of course it doesn't. They make the centers for emergencies on the show, like if it has some terminal illness that can't be healed with typical healing items. And because they're the good guys, they can't steal a sick Pokemon. That would be more likely for Team Rocket, who did try.

Re: A few questions about pokeballs...
1) A huge mansion, with a lovely outdoor pool, and a trail that breaks off, one leading to an awesome volcanoe, and another leading to a frozen tundra like mountain, with a lovely desert just a ways past that, but 'close to home' is a lovely garden-like area....and clear skies....(ex...) so that no matter what type you catch, they'll always be happy faily much.DarkAlex wrote:I have 2 questions about pokeballs...
1. What is it like inside one of these orbs?
2. How can pokemon trainers tell which pokeball contains which pokemon?
2) The ball's weight. lol.

All ideas of mine.

Apparently the balls are programmed to create a virtual environment to statisfy whatever pokemon is captured.
And they'd porbably have a set place for each in their belt or something. Or just guess xD''

If they had to guess by weight, how come Ash didn't need to hurl Snorlax's Pokeball like a shot put?
