Flare ran up the closest tree and looked down.

"Now stop getting so scared. I don't handle being around stuttering scaredy cats well." She growled, as her coat shone in the sun. Slowly, clouds covered the sky. As tears fell out of the sky, she opened one eye half-way. Her mother and father were headed her way. She got up, and walked to them, and off with them to their home. As she neared the cave, she jumped into it, and ran to her bed of grass and layed down, closing her eyes to sleep.

Flare heard his parents come and left so he could back to the tree that was his home.

Flare then jumped up the tree and fell asleep on his branch.

The next day, eyes flickered open. Reddish eyes scanned the area, as paws stretched. Yawn excaped her jaws, as paws carried her to the entrance of the cave. Darkened home slowly gaining in brightness, she sticks the head out of the cave's entrance. Eyes scanned the surrounding area, as her head moved lerft, then right. Ears flickered to every niose made, as paws carried her off to her tree. Studying it, muscles bunched up. A smile spread acrossed her yellow jaw, as a leap was made to a branch. Paws leaving the ground, soon came in contact with a brown trunk. Head laying down on her paws, she layed down on the branch. Reddish eyes took in everything around, as ears flickered to the faintest sound. She was ready for to day, as the sun shone brightly, lighting up the land.

Flare was still asleep even though his parents were singing the ritual. Just then he fell out of the tree and landed on something thst wasn;t grass. He noticed it was Crystal.

"Sorry!"

Eyes scanned, anger within them. Then she heard a familar vioce enter her ears. Body slipped off the branch, as she hit the ground with a thud. body jumped up and face turned this way and that as eyes scanned for the culpret. She now knew who done it, as reddish eyes landed on the person. Flare, she spotted him, and a growl emitted her throat. A warning to be careful who he fell on. Paws left the ground, as that yellow spiky body hit a branch. Paws clung to it, as the body scrambled onto the branch. She layed down on this branch, jaws resting on her paws.

"Sorry. I fell out my home tree."

Flare was scared of her and then ran to the furthest away tree.

Eyes kept closed, as ears ignored the sorry note. Her ears flickered to every other noise made, as an almost silent breathing pace emitted from her throat. She slept peacefully, ears hoenned into every other noise, to warn her of an oncoming person.
