Need help with the battle tower in ruby/sapphire

What are some good pokemon teams to face the battle tower with?
and what moves and item attachments

A good battle tower team can base itself around a weather condition, but be aware to do this, you should have one pokemon that is not weak to either downfall of the weather condition. For example, for a rain dance team, you should have one person neither weak to ground or electric. All of your pokemon should probably carry one of these items: Shell bell, Leftovers, Lum Berry, Quick Claw, or Sitrus berry. If you don't have lum berry, you can replace with cheri berry, or the berry that cures posion (not sure of the name). Also, one pokemon on your team should resist Toxic. That move runs pretty rampant through battle tower, at least at lvl 50. Finally, it can work if you have pokemon lower than the needed level, but it makes the earlier matches a cinch and tougher matches (like matches with Latios(as), and the Regis) workable.

u still on that? i defeated it so many times...but I used a Charizard, bellosom and Pelipper and won all the time...ocassionaly friends that i linked with i battled...which had the same pokemon because they borrowed mine or named them exactly like mine....
