Kingdom Hearts Series
Remember the big PS2/Kingdom Hearts craze a few years back? Well, I love the games and I was wondering if there were any others out there that love it just as much. I need to get the GBA game Chain of Memories now that I have a Nintendo DS and not just a Game Boy Color. Yes, I am behind the times, but it is the special edition Pokemon Silver/Gold verion with Pikachu and Pichu on it! Pikachu's cheek is the battery light- so cute!!............and I am off track.
Anyways, I hear that KH2's release date is something in the November/December area, they keep changing it and then I heard that it was just for the PS3, but I think it will be for both, since my sister worked in Toys R Us and they heard nothing of that, especially since the PS3 is not due for release until after the new year, and why would the game be scheduled for release months before the system? ^__^ I hope it is also for the PS2, cause I do not want another system! LOL
Anyone here fans of the popular Disney/Squaresoft game?

I loved the original Kingdom Hearts, it was great. I've never actually fully finished it, I'm still in End of World, right near the very end Need to pick it up and finish that last part sometime.
Anyway, it was an excellent game combining the size of Final Fantasy games with the settings and characters of Disney games. The graphics were absolutely amazing and the combat system was good, being real time it didn't break away from the action and allowed for a more free-flowing game. Loads and loads of mini-gamesand side quests (from the FF influence) made this a huge game and I had to buy a guidebook to it in order to try and get the most out of the game
It was a really great game, but I don't see myself buying any of the sequels, it was great but just didn't seem to captivate me in a way that I'd want to play more.

Ha ha yes, me too, but I'm going to quickly boot it up one day and write down my characters' info, it would be an interesting comparison since we're both at the same point in the game, no?

What has been your favourite world so far? I'd say mine has to be the Halloween town themed on a Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim Burton's style is very unique and I love the way they pull it off in the game. The tower was also very fun, not to mention the boss at the end.

Yeah, I never got the hang of the Gummi ship either, it seems kind of out of place with the rest of the game also. I never quite understood all the customisimg you can do to your Gummi ship despite having the guide book, whenever I changed a few pieces round I never noticed any difference. Is it just for aesthetics or do different pieces have diferent power and speeds? Either way, I got through the Gummi-ship portions of the game with a relatively unmodified ship so it mustn't be that important
