Pokémon Ranger Sequel!

It's been officially declared they're making a sequel, (I'm still stuck at the Go Rock secret base!) set up in a new region and so on. Best thing from what I've hear, you get to choose your partner Pokémon!

Ooh. Nice. Any possibility that an event pokeman comes with that too? (Shaymin) ala Ranger 1? :] We can all hope..right? :p

Shaymin? I thought Manaphy came with Ranger 1.

Yea, Manaphy came with Ranger 1, So i hoped shaymin would come with Ranger 2. :P

The last set of news about this game is posted in my podcast thred. there is a manaphy style quest for a manaphy and a riolu. whether this is a choice or you can get both isnt quite confirmed.

Not only can you chose your own starter - but there are 16 to chose from... That's a choice and a half.

Perhaps it depends on your starter/what you do in-game to decide which you get?
