What are you currently reading?

I am an avid book reader so I thought I would start this topic. Is there anybody else out there who enjoys reading (or are reading a book for a school assignment)? If so, what is it?

I'm currently reading The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins. It's a book regarding evolutionary theory, specifically the selfish gene theory.

I've read a few books recently (the golden compass books)
I'm reading Snakehead by Anthony Horowitz.
Judging by how awesome the previous books were it might not take me long to finish :O

Yeah, I love reading. Here's a pic of my book shelf.

Note this doesn't include the tens of Horrible History/Horrible Science books I read as a kid, nor some other random books and the book I'm currently reading, which is on my desk.

I've just finished The Selfish Gene and will be starting on Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Finished Animal Farm the same day I started reading it. Very good but very short book.

I'm now just starting to read Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.

and "Snakehead (Alex Rider)."

I've mispleced what I've been reading for the past few days: Into the Cold Fire.
It's a short book, but since I lost it I can't finish it. #_#

If you like that series, you should read Ark Angel. Very good book I'v read before.

I've just finished Lolita and it is an absolutely spectacular book, easily one of my favourites.

What I'm going to read next I haven't decided yet. Both Catch 22 and Stalin: Court of the Red Tsar are unfinished but I don't particularly feel like reading either of them. I also don't have any ideas for new books to read at the moment with only a few meagre considerations.

So I guess at the moment I'm not reading anything.

Oh, i've read all the Alex Rider books.
I get most from the library, but I do own a few.
Ark Angel was very good;
Snakehead finishes where it leaves off. =)
