personally i just pal parked my snorlax with leftovers, then bred it for a munchlax

Say you have Fire Red or Leaf Green, you can use the PalPark and trade a snorlax from FR or LG onto ds. Unfortunately you can only access the PalPark after you beat the elite4, plus you have to be pretty far on the GBA games to even get Snorlax... Oh well.
