Re: What are you currently reading?
I'm reading Blackwood Farm by Anne Rice. At the same time I'm starting Cry to Heaven by the same author, and finishing up The Host by Stephenie Meyer.
A more academic book I'm trying to chew on: An Introduction to Psychology, by some author whose name I can't seem to find.

I like fruit-flavored tea. : )

Re: What are you currently reading?
Well currently I am reading volume 5 of "The Prince of Tennis"... Also this summer I have listened to the Artemus Fowl books via i-pod... audio book.
I don't know what the next acctual book I'll read... something for english this next semester probably. I have only liked one book that I was made to read through school.
edit: I see that I posted a few posts up... I never did finish that book... it was really good but never finished it.

Re: What are you currently reading?
On the advice of Pikachu3828 (ok, i had planned on reading it anyway, but his mention of it in this thread helped me to actually go out and buy it), I'm reading the Watchmen graphic novel. After that, i'll read Gears of War: Aspho Fields, as that should arrive in the next day or two... then i can take my pick of the 20 manga's i have that i haven't read yet

Re: What are you currently reading?
As I have no posted in awhile, I'll just share what I can remember.
I recently started(and finished) the whole Artemis Fowl series, then I followed that by reading both Skullduggery pleasant books (waiting for the third).
I enjoyed both series and would recommend them to anyone who has not yet read them.
Currently I've just finished re-reading Eragon, and am most of the way through re-reading Eldest (before I start reading the third in the series for the first time)
I'd also recommend both Eragon and Eldest.
I'll possibly post after I finish Brisingr, and possibly recommend it, if it's good that is.

Against my will, The Scarlet Letter.
At an extreme pace.
I may have enjoyed it, if she gave us more time,
and if it were in proper English.

Re: What are you currently reading?
I'm 3/4 of the way through The Grapes Of Wrath and enjoying it thoroughly.
After I've finished reading it, I've got another book lined up called The Brown Plague - Travels in late Weimar and early Nazi Germany which is pretty self explanatory.

Re: What are you currently reading?
Honestly I admit that I don't read that much. Them Pokemon Games are to addictive for their own good.
Although I am reading Westley the owl, and the last Percy Jackson and the Olympians. And they've been sitting on my floor, I need to get a start on that reading...

Re: What are you currently reading?
Oh, I've read that! It's pretty awesome, hm?eevee126 wrote:i am reading Ark Angel by Anthony Horowitz
I just finished a book called Tithe, by Holly Black.
it's about faeries; but wait a second before you say "ew, kiddie book, fairies".
It is by far not a book for kids, or the fainthearted at that.
It's a pretty serious book, dealing with relationships, violence, drugs, etc,
and on top of all this the girl discovers she's a fairy, and is going to be sacrificed.
so, the book is at first based around that, but the plot further thickens, too...
Yes, I recommend this book to most everyone over 13.
Don't turn it away because it has faeries!
