I don't think it would be necessary for anyone to have either 6 Pokemon, level 100s nor legendary/final evolved forms for them to be considered to be the best.

Personally I agree. Unless it's a very specialized field. "Best" is a crippling word. Almost nothing is 'best', and it not being an opinion. O.o And If I had my old game, I might have an old set I worked hard to get all to 100, and stuff.
