I have a Zune, which is much better than an i-pod in my opinion.

I have a Nano G1. It's lasted forever and it's probably my most used electronic device next to my laptop.

I don't have or want an iPod because of iTunes's limitations and tendency to erase all of your music. NExt MP3 player I get will be drag-and-drop file capable.

My Zune's so awesome~
It's literally unbreakable; I've dropped it so many times, and it doesn't have a dent!
I've seen so many of my friends' i-pods break after only a few months.
Plus, it does so much more than an I-pod, and is so much easier to use!
The cost also compares, nicely, and it does so much more;
games, video, music, pictures, and it can communicate with other Zunes.
So, bottom line:
Get a Zune, not an I-pod, if you want a music device!

i wish they sold the zune over here in the UK... i'd definatly consider one.
I dont do ipods as i feel they're a lot more restrictive on the formats you can put on them (they definatly used to be) - so i stick with just plain MP3 players. had a couple of creative players, my current one is a creatie zen - decent piece of kit for what i need it for

Oh, I had a creative Zen before I got my Zune. That was a pretty awesome thing, too.
I find the Ipod very restrictive, as well...
especially the buying of songs on Itunes.
I got an Itune gift card, so I went to buy a song.
Well, it said I couldn't, because it was a german song,
and I needed to get german store credit to get it.
It also restricted me on a lot of other songs,
even though they were at the english store!
And my Zune gives me free money;
sometimes they have surverys about Zune and stuff,
and it takes about a half hour to do them,
but when you submit it they give you Amazon store credit.
I got ten dollars credit last month or one. =]

I've never held an iPod so I can't judge it, but I use and like Zune, and I'm comfortable with it.

On topic though, I do not have an iPod or indeed any kind if portable music player. Unless my mobile phone counts, which I don't used for that purpose anyway.
