That reminds me of an episode of Pepper Ann (anyone remember/watch that show?) where everybody disliked this old lady because she was mean but everyone was suddenly saying nice things about her when she died. The episode claimed that it wasn't right to speak ill of the dead, though I think in Michael Jackson's case it's that his music and impact on the industry far outweighs the scandals of his recent years.

I always knew that he wasn't a pedophile, He was just a child himself, he never had a Childhood, it had always been troubled. Notice that there's a NEVER in NEVERland, MJ's X-amusement park. He opened neverland so that the children that came to it would have not gone through what he did when he was a child. Even one of the kids that MJ was convicted of Child molestation, came up and admitted the family just sued to get money.

You've got the wrong word at the end of that - Jacko was actually never convicted of any child abuse.... of the two cases brought to court, one was settled out of court and one he was cleared completly. You are right, however, in saying that one of the children who accused jacko did say his family made him do it just for the money.

i think your right about him being more comfertable around children than adults as well - not only because his lack of childhood though. I think because adults wanted a piece of him, money or screaming fans wanting something from him, he found the company of children more normal as they treated him more like a person and were not after something themselves.

Still, lets all focus on a massive back catalouge of good songs... in 20 years, that's all we'll be remembering him by anyway

I think we might still remember Neverland, much like we still remember Elvis' Graceland. It'll probably become a tourist attraction, too.

Jackson's death is worth a lot of money. Record sales alone have shot through the roof following his death.
