I'd never do that. completely ruins the whole game. :\ Unless of course you only used it for Arceus and Shaymin.

Most are traded from GTS. Others my Pokemon Ranch.

I used an ar for getting Darkri, arceus and shymain. Scuz the spelling.

Bring Up My Post - because i'm allowed to do it

Just got shaymin today, so my main pokedex cart now has 492 seen and caught... only one more to go... just hope i get it eventually

working on platinum, just down in pastoria city and have seen 114, caught 019 - well i havent been off catching a lot... and i'm only part way though it.

No real hacking on the Diamond, except using Pal Park to bring Pokemon to carry hacked items (PP Up, Master Ball) from Emerald/Ruby. No hacked Pokemon on Diamond.

All right, about one month later. Here's my Pokedex
Seen: 446
Obtained: 409

I can never get Arceus, Shaymin, Darkrai, Phione or Manaphy without hacking as I don't have any events near me, no wifi or Pokemon Ranger. I can't get Deoxys, Jirachi, Celebi, or Mew without hacking 3rd Gen.

That's a lot of progress is a month.

Since quite a few legendary Pokémon are simply unavailable to you, are you going to class your Pokédex as 'complete' when you have every Pokémon bar the ones you listed?

It took me a while to Pal Park most of these Pokemon. I'm still working on evolving a few of them. A few Kanto Pokemon still needs transfering as my Fire Red save died on me again, with my Raikou from Colosseum... I can't get Lugia or Ho-Oh legitimately until HG/SS comes out.

I'm not going to bother using PokeRadar for the Kanto Pokemon. I hate that thing.

ok one - if you've got colloseum, you should be able to get ho-oh from that - granted its not easy to do, but its still possible.

and 2 - technically the game classes the pokedex as complete at 482 pokemon... and since all the one's your talking about not being able to get are part of those 11, it looks like you can still 'complete' the pokedex in the end

I forgot about those new 4th gen Pokemon (Magmortor, Electrive, etc.) who rely on trading to evolve. I can't get those either.
