PokÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â©rus

For those of you who do not know what PokÃƒÂ©rus is, it's a VERY VERY VERY (1 million more very's) rare virus which boosts the growth of your PokÃƒÂ©mon.

Anyway, I turned on PokÃƒÂ©mon Ruby today to train my recently evolved Cacturne. I was training it in Sky Pillar and went to see it's stats when I noticed it had on it "Status: PKRS". I was very excited at this, since I've never seen a wild shiny PokÃƒÂ©mon (except a red Gyarados at Lake of Rage) and I'd suddenly got the PokÃƒÂ©rus, which is, like, 4 times as rare! After a few moments of excitement, I checked my other PokÃƒÂ©mon in my team, to find that they'd ALL been infected too! AND they're my most powerful team, consisting of Blaziken, Groudon, Gardevoiur etc.

A very good day for me I think

That happened to me also. But it happened right after I used action replay.

I wouldn't of made this topic if I'd got PokÃƒÂ©rus by using Action Replay

you dont think everyone in the world uses a emulator for ALL their games do you? You badd!!! you very badd.... Anyway, nice job, PokÃƒÂ©rus is very rare, wish i would get it! (a sickness is good! :shock: ) train hard and *slowly* level up!

congrats. I got the pokerus on my first silver version file and thought it was something bad like I wouldn't be able to use it in battle so I deleted and started a new file which is my current file that has shinyditto, shinycharizard, shinyblastoise, and shinyvenusaur. if I could trade with ruby and sapphire I would have a shinyfile on my sapphire and ruby. well time to play my fire red rom. yay!

POKÃƒÂ©rus is on G/S/C, But how did you get in R/S?

It's on both, it was just a new feature to G/S/C that's been carried over, like shiny PokÃƒÂ©mon

i never had Pokerus or a shiny pokemon so i cant find out if its on FR/LG. Serebii might put that up sometime.

My friend got pokÃƒÂ©rus too. on their Wailord. Luckily, I told them it was good. Purple tag that said "PKRS". And hopefully it will be in FR/LG, too. Time to play my fire red ROM! yay^_^. ANd serebii isn't down, check out www.pokemonfanuniverse.com if you wanna see something on PKRS! but some info they have may be a little outta date. But they have info on PKRS, and one of the best pokedex's out there.
