Seen, But Not Caught
Yesterday I noticed that when I hatched an egg from Elm, it didn't register in my Pokédex. I'm assuming that was fixed to some extent when I say this, but when I checked just now it now registers as seen, but not caught.

Re: Seen, But Not Caught
There were some problems with the Pokédex that unfortunately weren't caught in testing. I've been fixing and testing it this morning and it appears this problem has been fixed. I hatched a Caterpie that I already had and my Pokédex did nothing; I then hatched a Skarmory which I hadn't seen and it registered as caught. This is expected behaviour. It will register as seen in your Pokédex if you've interacted with it.
To fix your problem you can either: hatch another Skarmory, trade/trade back with a trusted user or give me your Trainer Number and I'll register it as caught for you. Hopefully this should no longer be a problem.

Re: Seen, But Not Caught
The Pokémon hatched yesterday still registers as just seen, however an egg hatched today registers as caught, for some reason.
Trainer number: 5416
Note: The Pokémon in question that won't register as caught is a Whismur.

That's because the fix was applied this morning.Ryan659 wrote:The Pokémon hatched yesterday still registers as just seen, however an egg hatched today registers as caught, for some reason.
I'll register your Whismur as caught.

How did you obtain the Pokémon that did not register as seen?MollyDJmaster wrote:All poke's apart from Paras and Torchic register as seen, not caught??? Help!

I've been altering the Pokédex function this evening so if the problem happens again please tell me but for now I've fixed your Pokédex to make all Pokémon you've caught register as seen.

Re: Seen, But Not Caught
Thanks. The ones that were registered as caught, I had not seen. The others I had seen.

Re: Seen, But Not Caught
Unless of course it's saying you've caught a pokemon you actually haven't...if not and the only pokemon in your pokedex are the ones you have caught then I guess there is no issue ^^'WhoKnows_WhoCares wrote:That is correct and exactly how it should be

Re: Seen, But Not Caught
If your Pokédex shows all Pokémon as being coloured in regardless of whether they are seen or caught then the browser you are using probably doesn't support the fade CSS property. Another way to distinguish between seen and caught Pokémon is animation. Seen Pokémon are static while caught Pokémon are animated.
