Emerald Help?

My Emerald doesn't save? Is there any way I can fix this, or will I have to get a new one?

If it doesn't save then chances are it's an issue with the battery. You can replace the batteries by yourself if you know how to open up cartridges (you'll need a Nintendo screw) and know what to look for (little silver discs). Jewellers usually sell those type of batteries as they're common in small devices like watches.

I'm not sure if you can send GBA games into Nintendo for them to do it anymore but they might. I'm also not entirely sure but I think replacing the battery means getting rid of your save file.

Thanks I didn't have a file, coz it just wouldn't save though ...
